FFP2 / KN95
These face masks are filtering masks. The FFP2 grade (KN95 equivalent) is recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and used by the NHS, to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in combination with good hand hygiene.
3 Ply Surgical
These 3-ply surgical respirators are used to prevent infected droplets from entering the respiratory system of either the healthcare professional or the patient. They have 3 protective layers hence the name 3-Ply

FFP2 KN95
What are face masks?
These KN95 masks filter particles out of the air. When this standard is achieved, it means that it can filter up to 94% of dust particles out of the air. We currently have these exact respirators for sell here
Is this respirator reusable?
These masks are not marketed as re-usable masks. They are designed to give you up to 8 hours of solid protection and should be replaced day to day to ensure that you achieve optimum safety levels
Whats the difference?
All these masks offer the same level of protection. Every country has a unique grading system for face masks. FFP2 is the UK/EU version, N95 is used in the United States and KN95 is the terminology in the far east.

A surgical face mask?
A surgical face mask is also known as a medical mask or just a standard face mask. Generally they are worn by health professionals undertaking medical or surgical procedures. They work by creating a barrier between the respiratory system of the wearer from the environment.
face masks look like?
3Ply Surgical masks are disposable and fit loosely around your mouth and nose. Normally they tie around the back of the head or they have loops that go over your ears to keep the mask safely on your face. They are multi-layered hence the name 3Ply.
or KN95 mask?
This really does depend on your own individual circumstances. If you are high risk then the KN95 Mask (FFP2) offers better protection but if you rarely leave the house, the surgical 3Ply mask will happily keep you safe from harmful infection.
